• Day 1. Arrive in Beijing

  You will be greeted by our Beijing tour guide and transferred to check in at your luxurious hotel where you are at your leisure to relax and enjoy the evening.

  
  

• Day 2. Beijing (AB, L, SD)

  Beijing is the capital city of China, with population of 17.4 million. We embark for a full day tour which begins at the Tian An Men Square, noted as the largest public square in the world with its monuments and buildings situated around the square's perimeter. Thereafter we will visit the Forbidden City, and Summer Palace whilst enjoying a walk along Lake Kunming. Dinner is served with a fabulous Peking Duck Banquet.

  
  

• Day 3. Beijing (AB, L)

  Today you'll see and perhaps climb the Great Wall of China, one of the country's most famous tourist attractions and one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world. It runs about 5,500 miles through 150 different counties. You will then have a Seminar on Chinese Jade Culture at a local Jade Museum. Next you will have a Hutong Tour by rickshaw.

  
  

• Day 4. Beijing / Jiuzhaigou (AB)

  This morning you visit the exquisite 15th century Temple of Heaven - to see the Imperial Ceiling of Heaven with its Echo Wall and the Nine-Dragon Cypress, more than 500 years old. Then fly to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel.

  
  

• Day 5. Jiuzhaigou (AB, L)

  Occupying an area about 60,000 hectares, Jiuzhaigou, also known as Jiuzhai Valley, is a huge nature reserve and a masterpiece of nature with dreamlike scenery. Today you will have a full day to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Jiuzhaigou Valley. This little hidden secret is not well known among foreigners. Upon entering the scenic area, a group of exquisite, crystal clear ponds will immediately catch your eyes with their unparalleled and esthetic charm. Enjoy the scenic spots in Jiuzhaigou, such as Nuorilang Fall, Multi-Coloured Lake, Long Lake and Pearl Beach.

  
  

• Day 6. Jiuzhaigou / Chengdu (AB, L)

  Morning explore the Huanglong National Park. Due to its layered calcium carbonated deposit patterns, the valley resembles a golden dragon winding its way through the virgin forest, stone mountains and glaciers. Along the valley are scattering numerous colorful ponds of different sizes and shapes, which are strewn with gold colored limestone deposit giving a shimmering golden hue to water, so in sunlight, a golden dragon seems to surge forth from the forest. Thus it was named 'Huanglong Valley' (Yellow Dragon Valley). Fly to Chengdu afterwards.

  
  

• Day 7. Chengdu - Mt.Leshan - Mt.Emeishan (AB, L)

  Drive to Mt.Leshan in the morning. Today you'll see the marvelous Leshan Giant Buddha, the world's largest stone carved sitting Buddha in the world. After that, drive to Mt. Emei and stay the night over there.

  
  

• Day 8. Mt.Emei - Chengdu (AB, L)

  The highlight of today's tour is the Mt.Emeishan, one of the most famous mountains in China. Visit Emei mountain by cable car. Standing at the Golden Summit, you can enjoy the snowy mountain and vast plain. At the towering and beautiful Mt. Emeishan, you can also see the many cute monkeys. Then drive back to Chengdu.

  
  

• Day 9. Chengdu - Chongqing (AB, L)

  First, see the cute giant pandas at Chengdu Giant Panda Base to witness the conservation efforts being made to save this endangered specy. The center is the largest giant panda reserve in the world. Then take an express train to Chongqing. Upon arrival, our guide will escort you to board the cruise. The highly anticipated Yangtze River cruise adventure will begin. (Note: Due to water level condition, boarding port of the cruise may be changed to Fengdu.)

  
  

• Day 10. Cruise the Yangtze (AB, L, D)

  As the cruise moves on, you could see the lofty peaks, precipitous cliffs and towering trees on both sides of the gorges. Today’s shore excursion will either be the Fengdu Ghost City or Shibaozhai with its impressive wooden pagoda depending on the water level and cruise you will take. In the evening, join the Captain's Welcome Party.

  
  

• Day 11. Cruise on Yangtze River (AB, L, D)

  Today, the will firstly sail through Qutang Gorge, the shortest and most dramatic one among the Three Gorges. Then sail though the breathtaking Wu Gorge, where you could indulge yourself in the beautiful scenery along freely. Later, disembark at Wushan and experience a small riverboat trip on Shennong Stream or Lesser Three Gorgesdepending on the water level and the cruise you are taking. Then, back to the ship. Later, the ship will pass through the ship lock of the Three Gorges Dam.

  
  

• Day 12. Yangtze River - Yichang - Zhangjiajie (AB, L)

  In the morning, disembark to visit the mighty Three Gorges Dam project, the largest dam project in the world, 606-feet in height and 6,500-feet in length. Then pick up and transfer to the railway station to board the soft sleeper train to Zhangjiajie. (Note: you will be picked up by Yichang guide after visiting the Three Gorges Dam, so please check out the cruise before heading to the Dam.)

  
  

• Day 13. Zhangjiajie (AB, L)

  After breakfast start your visit on Tianzi Mountain, hiking to the top of Tianzi mountain (2.5 hours) and do sightseeing in Helong park, Tianzi Tower. Then drive to Yuanjiajieexhibiting unbelievable and fantastic views; there are the origins of floating mountain in Avatar, after that take Bailong lift down the mountain, which is the tallest (326m) and the fastest (1'58") lift worldwide, according to the Guinness World Record. Then take a delightful train ride along the Ten Miles Gallery。

  
  

• Day 14. Zhangjiajie / Shanghai (AB, L)

  After breakfast, begin your tour on Huang Shi Zhai. Take the elevator to the top of the mountain, where there are numerous lookout points for stunning views, from which you can see nearly half the peaks of Zhangjiajie. There is a popular saying goes like that if you don't visit Huangshizhai, you can't claim you have come to Zhangjiajie. Then take the cable down the mountain. In the afternoon walk 2 hours inside Golden Whip Stream Canyon, which is the most beautiful canyon in the world. Take a flight to Shanghai and check in at the hotel.

  
  

• Day 15. Shanghai (AB)

  Morning is free at leisure. This noon, drive to visit Zhujiajiao Water Town, which has a history of more than 1700 years, is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai. Old historical buildings such as rice shops, banks, spice stores and even a Qing dynasty post office can still be found today. Besides, you will also visit the historic interests like Fangsheng Bridge, Kezhi Garden and the Yuanjin Buddhist Temple etc. Then drive back to downtown. Rest of the day is left at leisure or last minutes shopping.

  
  

• Day 16. Shanghai (AB, L)

  Today's portion of the tour will take you into Shanghai, China's financial center. Take some time to explore Yuyuan Garden, and the commercial aspects of Old Street, Nanjing Road before checking out the 120,000 art exhibits in the Shanghai Museum. Visit a Silk factory where you can do some shopping. Stroll around the Bund, the waterfront of Shanghai.

  
  

• Day 17. Departure from Shanghai (AB)

  Our tour guide and driver will see you off at the airport after the breakfast. Finish your spectacular China tour today.
